What's new in FocusTribe. Newest releases at the top.

The format follows Keep a Changelog, and this project adheres to Semantic Versioning.

1.1.0 — 2026-09-24

Added

  • Public homepage and marketing site. Brand-new website with a full product walkthrough — hero video, features, how-it-works, FAQ, and pricing.
  • Eight in-depth essays. Long-form posts on shared Pomodoro versus solo focus, remote deep work, ambient sounds and focus, accountability rituals that don't become surveillance, Pomodoro compared to Flowtime and Timeboxing, why most competitive-exam aspirants quit, the Pomodoro technique for long study sessions, and why logging your daily progress is the habit that sticks. Read them on the Blog.
  • Feature deep pages. Dedicated pages for the Shared Pomodoro Room, the Break Room, Progress and Insights, and the Daily Reflection Journal — each with its own FAQ.
  • Comparison pages. How FocusTribe stacks up against Forest, Flow Club, and Focusmate, with a feature-by-feature breakdown and a clear "when each one wins" guide.
  • Pricing page. It's free. Now there's a page that says so, with the full list of what's included.
  • This Changelog page. Public release notes, so you can see what shipped and when.
  • Refreshed brand. Consistent logo across the website, browser tab, and home-screen install.
  • Animated hero. The homepage banner is now a short product walkthrough video.

Changed

  • Navigation is consistent across every marketing page (Home, Features, Blog, Pricing, Changelog).
  • Faster page loads on mobile thanks to lighter favicons and image cleanup.
  • Accurate product description across the site. A FocusTribe workspace holds exactly two people — you and one accountability partner — and that limit is enforced in the database rules, not a plan tier. Copy that described a larger team product, a synchronised timer, or an email sign-in option has been corrected, including the 1.0.0 notes below.

1.0.0 — 2026-05-02

Initial public release. Live at focustribe.in.

Added

  • Shared Pomodoro room for two — you and one partner each run your own timer on a board the other can see. There is no shared clock and no synchronised start; accountability comes from visibility.
  • Break room — shared recovery space with seven ambient soundscapes (rain, forest, cafe, fireplace, ocean, thunderstorm, white noise).
  • Tasks — duration-aware to-dos with completion sounds and a small celebration when you finish.
  • Daily reflections — an end-of-day writeup covering what you achieved, what got in the way, and your energy level. Reflections are private to whoever wrote them; your partner cannot read yours.
  • Progress and insights — focus time, tasks completed, daily average, completion rate, and streaks, for either person or for both. Focus time is planned time: the sum of the durations you set on the tasks you completed, not measured elapsed time.
  • Google sign-in.
  • Invite link so your partner can join the workspace in seconds.
  • Light and dark themes, remembered per browser.
