FocusTribe
Your own timer, on a board one other person can see.

Shared Pomodoro Room

You and one accountability partner each run your own Pomodoro timer on a shared board. See who is in focus, who is on a break, and what the other is working on — with no video call and nothing to schedule.

A solo Pomodoro timer has one weakness: nobody notices when you quietly do not start it. FocusTribe puts your timer on a board your partner can see. You still work at your own pace — there is no shared clock and no synchronised start — but your focus status, your task list and your finished work are visible to one person who is doing the same thing.

Independent timers, shared visibility

You each run your own timer against your own tasks. Live status shows who is focusing right now, who is on a break, and which task they are on. No coordination required.

The timer is attached to the task

Set a duration when you add a task and the Pomodoro splits it into focus blocks automatically. A two-hour task becomes four blocks with breaks between them, and the board shows how much focus is left.

Tasks live in the focus room, not the break room

The break room deliberately shows no tasks. Recovery is recovery, not a chance to keep scanning the to-do list.

No surveillance

No screen tracking, no keystroke logging, no manager dashboard. There is no manager — a workspace is two peers. The accountability is simply that you either showed up for the block or you did not.

Frequently asked

Can I use it alone, without a partner?+

Yes. A new workspace starts with just you, and the timer works as a solo Pomodoro app. You can invite one partner later from the same workspace. There is also a no-signup timer at /pomodoro-timer.

How many people can be in a workspace?+

Two. That is a deliberate product decision rather than a plan limit — FocusTribe is built for a pair, not a team.

What block lengths are supported?+

The default is 25 minutes of focus and a 5-minute break, with a longer break every fourth block. Focus length is configurable from 1 to 120 minutes, short breaks from 1 to 30, and long breaks from 1 to 60. The long break fires every 2 to 10 focus blocks — that setting is a count of blocks, not a number of minutes.

What happens if I start much later than my partner?+

Nothing. There is no shared clock to catch up to and no session to join late. You start your own block whenever you sit down; the board just shows who is currently in focus.

Does it integrate with my calendar?+

Not today. Calendar integration is not built.
