The workspace is Pro, not the person. A workspace holds exactly two people, so charging both would double the price of a product whose whole premise is that it takes two. Either of you can pay; both of you get it.

Pricing FAQ
Does one subscription cover both people?+
Yes, and this is the part worth reading twice. A FocusTribe workspace holds exactly two people, and Pro applies to the workspace rather than to a person. Whichever of you subscribes, both of you get unlimited history and the formatted export inside that workspace. There is no second seat to buy and no per-member price.
Are the free tools still free?+
Yes, and they need no account at all. The Pomodoro timer, the study timer, the seven ambient sound pages, the sound mixer, the noise colour generators, the break room and the breathing and interval timers are open to anyone with a browser. They are not a trial, they are not metered, and nothing on them asks you to upgrade.
What do I actually lose on the free plan?+
Three things. Reflections and insights older than 14 days stop being readable, so "what changed last month" is a question the free plan cannot answer. A single missed day resets your pair streak, where Pro's Streak Shield forgives one missed day a week. And the formatted insights export, the tidy file of your history, is Pro only. Everything you do day to day is untouched: tasks, both Pomodoro timers, the break room, the sounds, the streaks, nudges and your partner's live status are all unmetered on the free plan.
Is the free plan time-limited, or a trial?+
Neither. It is a plan, not a countdown. Sign in, invite one partner, and use the shared workspace for as long as you like without giving us a card. Pro adds depth of history and an export; it does not unlock the product.
Can I get my data out without paying?+
Yes. A complete export of your account data is free and always will be — it is a right under data protection law, not a feature, and charging for it would be wrong. The Pro export is a different thing: a formatted insights file built for reading and sharing, rather than the raw record.
How many people can share a workspace?+
Two, on every plan. A FocusTribe workspace is you plus one accountability partner — a study partner, a co-founder, a friend working towards something. That limit is enforced in the database, not by a paywall: paying does not raise it, because the whole product is built around one pair rather than a team. Pro lets you own more workspaces, each still holding two people.
What happens if I cancel?+
You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, then the workspace returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted. Your older reflections and insights stop being readable while you are on free, and they become readable again the moment you subscribe.
Can I get a refund?+
Yes, within 7 days of a charge, no questions asked. The full terms are on the refund policy page, including how statutory withdrawal rights in the EEA and the UK sit alongside that window.
Do you offer enterprise plans?+
No. Workspaces hold two people, so FocusTribe does not fit an organisation today. If you need SSO, audit logs, or larger groups, it is genuinely not the right tool yet.
